Prince Emmanuel of Belgium (Emmanuel Leopold Guillaume François Marie), born October 4, 2005 at 13.06h (CET) in the Erasmus Hospital in Anderlecht, is third child of HRH Prince Philippe, Duke of Brabant and his wife HRH Princess Mathilde, Duchess of Brabant. The child was 3.9 kg and 50 cm at birth. He is a grandchild of Albert II of Belgium.

Prince Emmanuel currently is fourth in line to the Belgian throne after his father, his sister Elisabeth and brother Gabriel. He was baptised on 10 December 2005 in the chapel of Ciergnon Castle in the Belgian Ardennes by Cardinal Danneels, the archbishop of Brussels-Malines. His godparents were his aunt, Countess Elisabeth d'Udekem d'Acoz and Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg.
