Prince Carl-Johan of Nassau (Carl-Johan Félix Julien Marc d'Aviano) born 15 August 1992, is the third son and youngest child of Prince Jean of Luxembourg (the second son of Grand Duke Jean and Grand Duchess Josephine-Charlotte) and Helene Vestur.
Carl-Johan was born as "Count Carl-Johan of Nassau", as Prince Jean had renounced his right of succession to the throne of Luxembourg prior to his marriage. On 24 November 2004, Prince Jean's wife and children were granted the style and title of "HRH Prince(ss) of Nassau".
Carl-Johan has one older sister, Marie-Gabrielle, and two older brothers, Constantin and Wenceslas.

The family lives in Paris, France where Prince Jean works in the financial sector.
He is currently at school in Ampleforth College, Yorkshire and is enjoying his rugby. He plays for the B team and is the star of the C team team.
