PRIDE Total Elimination 2003 was a mixed martial arts event held by PRIDE Fighting Championships. It took place at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan on August 10, 2003. This event was host to the quarterfinals of the 2003 PRIDE Middleweight Grand Prix tournament. The four winners in the quarterfinals advanced to the PRIDE Final Conflict 2003 event in November where both the semi-finals and the finals were contested on the same night.

[edit] Chuck Liddell vs. Alistair Overeem
UFC representative Chuck Liddell knocked out Alistair Overeem with several consecutive punches at 3:09 in the first round.
Quinton Jackson vs. Murilo Bustamante Jackson was victorious via split decision over Murilo Bustamante. Bustamante replaced fellow Brazilian Top Team member Ricardo Arona in the tournament. Arona was unable to take part due to a broken ankle.
Hidehiko Yoshida vs. Kiyoshi Tamura Hidehiko Yoshida defeated Kiyoshi Tamura by submission with a sleeve choke 5:06 into the first round.
Wanderlei Silva vs. Kazushi Sakuraba PRIDE Middleweight Champion Wanderlei Silva knocked out Kazushi Sakuraba with a left-right combination 5:01 into the fight.

Fedor Emelianenko vs. Gary Goodridge PRIDE Heavyweight Champion Fedor Emelianenko needed only 1:09 to defeat Gary Goodridge by TKO. Fedor's aggressive ground and pound quickly forced a referee stoppage.
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Ricco Rodriguez Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira won in a unanimous decision over Ricco Rodriguez.
Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipović vs. Igor Vovchanchyn "Cro Cop" knocked out Igor Vovchanchyn with a high kick to the head 1:29 into the fight.
