PRIDE 34: Kamikaze[1][2] is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by PRIDE Fighting Championships. The event is currently scheduled to for April 8, 2007 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. Although Wanderlei Silva and Mauricio Rua are currently negotiating with PRIDE to compete,[3] Silva's participation is in doubt because of a medical suspension received from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.[4] However, the commission has stated that if a Japanese doctor clears Silva for competition, they will consider lifting the suspension three days early.[1]
