Maybe someone can create an article about LAN booting in general? All modern computers support it, but there is little information about this thing on the internet. thanks, --Abdull 21:44, 10 May 2005 (UTC)

LAN booting in general...it's longer than you'd suspect (though there certaintly are longer articles on here), however, I don't think that this is the place for a step-by-step howto. However, Nirkus and I maintain a much smaller wiki dedicated to this...please see [1] (same link at the bottom of the article) for more info. ScytheBlade1 01:19, 11 May 2005 (UTC)

This links to an interesting linux distribution, but I cannot find more information than how to configure it. So I think, we should remove this link, it provides no documentation on how to use PXE itself.

 I removed PXES from this article. And I will continue to remove the link..

It would be nice to get an idea of how widespread PXE support is, and when it was adopted. A couple sentences could easily answer questions, e.g., would a typical P-II with an onboard 10/100 ethernet support PXE?
