Pretty the Quick Black Eyes (PTQBE) is an Austin, Texas based group formed by former Mineral (band) guitarist Scott-David McCarver, along with Joshua Merritt. The group first performed on July 4, 2002 as an opening act for The Gloria Record. Soon after, PTQBE recorded their EP with Rory Phillips (the Impossibles) in Austin, TX. In November 2002, PTQBE released their debut self titled EP. Late 2006 is an announced date for further work on a studio album[1]
