[edit] Preston Hollow in the news
In 2006, Preston Hollow Elementary School achieved notoriety for violating the 1952 Supreme Court Brown v. Board of Education decision. Judge Sam Lindsay ruled that the school's practice of creating "White-only" classes was not legal. Defense noted that not a single Whites-only class existed in the school, and that placement was based on test scores [1]. The school concentrated White pupils into specific classes and classified many non-White students as "ESL" students even though many of the kids performed well on English tests.
