Presbyterians Aiding Nicaraguans
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Presbyterians Aiding Nicaraguans is a lay ministry of ordinary Presbyterians working to bring together churches in Canada with churches in Nicaragua. They are based in Guelph, Ontario and have been active in Nicaragua for about eight years. As more churches, ministries and people become aware of this lay mission work, they are seeing exciting results. Nicaraguan churches and schools, whose construction had stopped because of finances, are getting finished, feeding centres and orphanages are being supported, and aid is being given to other organizations like drug and alcohol rehabilitation centres. Although founded by Presbyterians, PAN welcomes all Christian denominations.
