Prentiss County School District

The Prentiss County School District is a public school district based in Booneville, Mississippi (USA).

In addition to portions of Booneville, the district also serves the towns of Marietta and Jumpertown, and the unincorporated communities of New Site, Thrasher, and Wheeler.

There were a total of 2,219 students enrolled in the Prentiss County School District during the 2005-2006 school year. The gender makeup of the district was 50% female and 50% male. The racial makeup of the district was 7% African American, 93% White, and less than 1% Asian, Hispanic, and Native American.[1]
