Prenocephale was a small pachycephalosaur from Late Cretaceous Mongolia, and was similar in many ways to its close relative, Homalocephale. Prenocephale probably weighed around 130 kilograms and was around 2 meters to 3 meters long. Unlike the flattened skull of Homalocephale, the head of Prenocephale was more rounded and sloping.
[edit] In popular culture
Prenocephale was shown in the Discovery Channel special Dinosaur Planet being hunted by and killing a Velociraptor.
