Premier Mid Sussex Youth & Minor Football League

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Premier Mid Sussex Youth & Minor Football League is a football league that contains youth's football clubs ranging from under 9s to under 16s. The league offers children and teenagers that want to play league football the opportunity to do so.

[edit] Organization

The League is run by the FA. As a result, all inquiries and queries about the team are directed to the FA. For an example, a player's behaviour or attitude on the pitch seems wrong, a complaint can be sent to the FA and they will look into it. They are also responsible for giving any red and yellow cards during a match. Depending on the offense committed, the FA can issue a different length of ban or amount of debt. Therefore the FA have sole control of the league and the league abides by the normal FA rules.

[edit] County Cup

The county cup involves teams in the Sussex area. It gives teams the opportunity to play teams that they have perhaps never played before, and possibly learn new skills and techniques from these other teams. Teams can only enter one of their teams (i.e A team or B team) into this cup. The competition progresses throughout the whole of the Mid Sussex League and other league seasons, and has a final near to the end of the season. Each age group from under 9s to under 16s has a winner who receives the county cup trophy.

[edit] Mid Sussex League Cup

There is also another cup in this football league. This cup is only for the teams in the Mid Sussex League as the name suggests. This cup varies from the County Cup, as teams are allowed to enter both their A and B teams.
