Premier Farnell

Premier Farnell plc is a British based wholesaler headquartered in Leeds. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.
Premier Farnell was formed in 1996 with the takeover of Premier Industrial Corporation of the USA by Farnell Electronics PLC. It markets and distributes electronic Maintenance, Repair and Operations products and industrial products, notably for the repair and upkeep of motorised vehicles and buildings, to over one hundred countries, and has offices in over twenty of them. It works exclusively in the business to business sector. Turnover for the financial year to 29 January 2006 was £814.0 million. Profits were £38.1 million before tax and £31.1 million after tax.
