Preeti Desai

Preeti Desai (born 29 September 1981) is a model and current Miss Great Britain 2006.

Preeti Desai
A British Indian, she was born in Middlesbrough to Jitu and Hema Desai. She attended St Augustine RC primary school in Coulby Newham, then Nunthorpe Secondary School. After leaving school she did a three year course in Hair and Beauty at Middlesbrough College. After graduation she worked in hair salons for a number of years. She has a younger sister Anjlee.
Following the dethronement of Danielle Lloyd, Desai was elected Miss Great Britain in a poll of readers of the Sun newspaper.
