Representative (REP): Precious Metals Rep, A person who accompanies and or witnesses the processing, packaging, and or reclamation of a commodity at a primary or secondary precious metal refiner, in order to verify the maximum dollar value is returned to the material owner which is usually based on a percentage of the materials worth, by using industry wide procedures with less than 5 years experience.
