[edit] Vegetarian Buffet in Taipei

Hi Pratyeka, I saw the photograph you had taken of a vegetarian buffet in Taiwan. Can you please give details about that restaurant? It will be very useful for vegetarians traveling to Taipei, and many of my colleagues who have been there have complained about the lack of vegetarian food in Taiwan. Many thanks, GaneshTS 19:45, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tai Le and Tai Lü

Hi Pratyeka, I've suggested merging the Tai Le article with Tai Lü. I've just found out that the images that you put into the Tai Le article are definitely Dehong Dai (unfortunately called "Tai Le" by the Unicode Foundation), not Xishuangbanna Dai. I understood you know Chinese - you might have a look at 中国少数民族文字数据库, there are descriptions and several samples of all these alphabets. [edit] Hi

I'm just wondering, are you the webmaster for Pratyeka.org? If so I'd like to say thanks for all that stuff, it's a very useful site for me. :) --Hecktor 19:58, 22 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome back

Very impressive that you found a way around the block! Good show. As for myself, I moved back to Chicago a few weeks ago. So, I guess I won't be able to drop in any time soon, but I'll drop you a line if I'm back in east Asia. I'd like to be able to spend some time in China again next year or so, but I don't know if that's in the offing, because I have some responsibilities here. [edit] Fuzzy Zoeller edit controversy

Hello, there. As you may or may not know, the Miami Herald recently revealed that professional golfer Fuzzy Zoeller has filed a lawsuit against Josef Silny & Associates, Inc. for adding false statements to his Wikipedia biography.

For data gathering purposes, an SRS of 20 administrators has been created, you being one of them. I would like you to comment on this situation and its possible implications to Wikipedia, the accused company, and the general welfare of the community in general. (To what extent will this impact Wikipedia? To what extent will this impact those who use Wikipedia often? To what extent is the company guilty? Who do you believe is at fault?) Feel free to comment however you wish. I ask that you email me your responses via my emailuser page so as to reduce bias in your responses. (Again, don't post your responses on my talk page.)

The following are articles from various news agencies that you may use to inform yourself about the situation: Miami Herald, Herald Tribune, Web Pro News, The Smoking Gun.

I thank you for taking your time to express your opinion. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at any time. Jaredtalk 18:23, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
