Praxair, Inc. (NYSE: PX) is a Fortune 300 company. It is the largest supplier of industrial gases in North and South America, as well as one of the largest worldwide. The company's revenue in 2006 was $8.3 billion. Founded in 1907, Praxair is headquartered in Danbury, Connecticut.
Dennis Reilley has served as Chairman since 2000, and was formerly the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Steve Angel became CEO on January 1, 2007.
Praxair has 27,000 employees and operates in 40 countries.
