Prasanna, is a C-list Tamil hero. He debuted with Susi Ganesan's Five Star went on to become a hero for those directors who want the protagonist to don the boy-next-door look.

His debut film did average business but his next two films flopped miserably at the box-office. Azhagiya Theeye was critically acclaimed but Kasthuri Maan flopped. Kanda Naal Muthal was a good grosser. One of his forthcoming movie is 'Cheena Thaana 001'
