Prabhupadanugas

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Prabhupadanugas refers to the Hare Krishnas or devotees of Lord Krishna following in the footsteps of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada(also known as Srila Prabhupada), who is the present initiating spiritual master of the Gaudya Vaisnava sampradaya and the top most exponent of the Vedic science in the Western world. Prabhupadanugas do not associate with the present ISKCON institution(formerly a movement following Prabhupada) due to their disobedience of the final order of Prabhupada expressed in the so called July 9the letter 1977. In the letter Srila Prabhupada establishes the ritvik system, which enables him to initiate new disciples even after his physical demise by the help of his deputies. Prabhupadanugas up to this day follow this instruction and thus the message of the Hare Krishna movement lives on. Prabhupadanugas Press

How to distinguish an ISKCON devotee from a Prabhupadanuga:

ISKCON devotee -does not accept Srila Prabhupada to be the last initiating spiritual master of the Hare Krishna movement -believes that the spiritual master must be physically present to guide a prospective disciple -is more likely to read, distribute or propagate the books of Srila Prabhupada, which were changed by the ISKCON institution after Srila Prabhupada's physical departure -generally does not believe that Srila Prabhupada has been "poisoned" by the present ISKCON leaders -associates with other devotees within the present ISKCON -does not support the ritvik system on behalf of Srila Prabhupada

Prabhupadanuga devotee -accepts Srila Prabhupada to the last initiating spiritual master of the Hare Krishna movement -is strictly against reading or distributing the changed versions of Srila Prabhupada's books -believes that Srila Prabhupada has been "poisoned" by the present ISKCON leaders -does not associate with the present ISKCON devotees -supports the ritvik initiations on behalf of Srila Prabhupada
