Offline, Pr1983 is known as Paul to his friends. Online, people he would consider good friends refer to him as Paul. So yes, his friends generally call him Paul.

Paul grew up in Blanchardstown, County Dublin, in Ireland, but now resides in County Cavan, also in Ireland. Paul is the oldest of four children. He was born catholic, but tends to shun the church itself, preferring to have his own beliefs that are similar to Catholicism in several ways.

Paul is a qualified web designer and MS Office user, and is always looking to learn new things.

Pr1983 is a new addition to the Wikipedia membership. Pr1983 is a member of several online message boards, where he commonly debates about Movies, Music and Comic book related issues with his fellow users. Pr1983 is still trying to learn how to use links properly in Wikipedia. Pr1983 types in the third person to seem more professional.

His interests include Star Trek (Most notably Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Star Wars, and science fiction in general. He supports Manchester United, and is a big Film and Music lover. He is also an avid Comic Book fan.

Pr1983 is a big writing fan, and currently has several projects under development, including several X-Men short stories and a Superman comic script that he will later attempt to draw.

Pr1983 is a life-long fan of the X-Men. His favourite X-Men character is Cyclops. The comics he would buy regularly are (as of August 2006):

Pr1983 regularly enters debates with the rare magical item "Common sense" at his disposal. More often than not Pr1983 ends up banging his head on the desk with misinformed people who were probably not born when Pr1983 was picking up his first comics.
