Prêmio Jabuti

The Prêmio Jabuti (the "Jabuti Prize") is the most important and well known literary award in Brazil. It was founded in 1958 by Edgard Cavalheiro. Since its first presentation in 1959, it has gained many new categories and today it covers numerous literary categories from educational novels to illustration to editorials.
