Pozzomaggiore is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 140 km northwest of Cagliari and about 40 km south of Sassari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,871 and an area of 79.4 km2.[1]
Pozzomaggiore borders the following municipalities: Bosa, Cossoine, Mara, Padria, Semestene, Sindia, Suni.
