If anyone even stops by here...
I have heard Stone Roses called a Poynton band - their promoters were from there, and an article back in the heyday (while I was living there) referred to knowing Stone Roses "back when they were Poynton goths."
Any truth to this? I couldn't find a definitive answer via google...

This article can do with a more logical framework - eg a section on transport. It tends to be just a collection of facts. Peter Shearan 05:14, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
