Powelliphanta traversi latizona is a rare large terrestrial mollusc in the family Rhytididae, endemic to the North Island of New Zealand. It is found only in the Arapaepae Range, near Levin.
The shell coloration is yellowish-olive to old gold, distantly but strongly spirally banded and lined in dark reddish-brown.
Major diameter is up to 53 mm, and height up to 27 mm.
Powelliphanta traversi latizona is classified by the New Zealand Department of Conservation as being Nationally Endangered.
