Powelliphanta traversi florida is a rare large terrestrial mollusc in the family Rhytididae, endemic to the North Island of New Zealand. It is found only in forest reserve at Muhunoa East, south east of Levin.
The shell coloration is a dark reddish-brown, closely spirally lined and banded in darker brown on top, and with the base almost completely dark brown.
Major diameter is up to 53 mm, and height up to 27 mm.
Powelliphanta traversi florida is classified by the New Zealand Department of Conservation as being Nationally Endangered.
