Powelliphanta rossiana rossiana is a rare terrestrial mollusc in the family Rhytididae, endemic to the South Island of New Zealand. It is found at altitudes of between 2,900 and 3,600 ft on hills in Westland in the South Island.

The shell is subglobose, thin, smooth and glossy, both above and below, and narrowly umbilicated. Its colour is dark greenish-brown, irregularly axially streaked with slightly darker brown.

Major diameter is up to 38 mm, and height up to 25 mm.

Powelliphanta rossiana rossiana is classified by the New Zealand Department of Conservation as being Nationally Endangered.
