Powelliphanta hochstetteri bicolor is a rare terrestrial mollusc in the family Rhytididae, endemic to the South Island of New Zealand. It is found only in the eastern Marlborough Sounds including islands.
Shell coloration is light yellowish-olive, with a few irregular brown spiral bands at the periphery. The base is free of spirals but there is always a small circular zone of dark chocolate in and surrounding the umbilicus.
Major diameter is up to 67 mm, and height up to 32 mm.
Powelliphanta hochstetteri bicolor is classified by the New Zealand Department of Conservation as being in Gradual Decline.
