Powelliphanta gilliesi kahurangica is a terrestrial mollusc in the family Rhytididae, endemic to the South Island of New Zealand. It is found only on Kahurangi Point in West Nelson, in coastal scrub.

The shell has finer granulations of the parietal callus (thickened calcareous deposit on the upper part of the inside wall of the aperture) than other subspecies, and a basal dark zone is not present, but there are four or five prominent dark brown peripheral spiral bands.

Major diameter is up to 54 mm, and height up to 27 mm.
