Pournami (Telugu: పౌర్ణమి) is a 2006 Telugu language film directed by choreographer-turned director Prabhu Deva. It stars Prabhas, Trisha Krishnan, Charmme Kaur, Rahul Dev, and Sindhu Tolani. The movie was released with a lot of hype because of Prabhas and Krishnan's earlier hit, Varsham. However, despite the huge cast, the film flopped miserably at the box office.

Chandra Mohan and Kavitha have two daughters Pournami (Trisha) and Chandrakala (Charmi). Chandra Mohan’s family have been following a tradition from past 450 years that the girl belonging to their dynasty should dance in the "Sivalayam" in front of Lord shiva, which happens for every 12 years on the Full moon day (Pournami). Now it’s Pournami’s turn to perform, Just before 10 months to that day, Pournami goes amiss. The father is afraid to teach Chandrakala dance due to the girls' stepmother's evil intentions. But Shivkeshava (Prabhas) comes into town and encourages Chandra Mohan to teach Chandrakala to perform the dance. The rest of the story revolves around why he is so eager to see that Chandrakala dances.
