Pound Middle School

Pound Middle School is one of the eleven public school middle schools in the Lincoln Public Schools school district. It is located at 4740 South 45th Street in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. It currently in the 2006-2007 school year has approximately 800 students enrolled. It was established in 1963 and was named in honor of the family of Stephen Bosworth Pound. Family members include son Roscoe, and daughters Olivia and Louise. Pound Middle School's phone number is 402-436-1217. Its current principal is Dr. Chris Deibler.
Pound primarily feeds into Lincoln Southeast High School, but a sizable number of students attend Lincoln Southwest High School instead, depending on geographic proximity.
