Potomac Mills is a super-regional shopping mall in Woodbridge, Virginia in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. It is located near Interstate 95 between Smoketown Road and Prince William Parkway.
The mall was the first in the Mills Corporation's chain of shopping malls, and has over 200 retailers and an 18-screen AMC movie theater. According to the Virginia Tourism Corp., Potomac Mills is the 10th most popular tourism site in the state. In 2004-2005, the mall went through a renovation that was completed on September 20, 2005 (the mall's 20th anniversary), and that reduced the number of neighborhoods from nine (going clockwise) to five (going counter-clockwise).
