Pothundi Dam

Pothundi Dam is an irrigation dam near a a small village in Palakkad district of Kerala, south India.
The dam about 8 km from Nemmara and 42 km from Palakkad. Nelliampathi is 17 km from here and is known for its Nemmara Vallengi Vela.

- Nearest Airport: Kochi International Airport OR Coimbatore Airport in Tamil Nadu.
- Nearest railway station: Olavakkod, Palakkad or Trichur.
- From Kochi Airport: Come to Trichur - 30 km, take a taxi to Nemmara or by bus from Trichur bus stand to Nemmara - 48 km. From Palakkad: By taxi or bus to Nemmara - 30 km.
- From Coimbatore Airport : By Taxi or Bus to Palakkad - 70 km.
- From Palakkad: By taxi or bus to Nemmara - 30 km.
- Nearest town: Nemmara - 6 km.
