Potassium bis(trimethylsilyl)amide

Potassium bis(trimethylsilyl)amide is the chemical compound with the formula ((CH3)3Si)2NK. This species, usually called KHMDS (Potassium hexamethyldisilazide), is a strong base used for deprotonation reactions.
