[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Tim.GIF
Thanks for uploading Image:Tim.GIF. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Brookie :) - a will o' the wisp ! (Whisper...) 16:30, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Learn the lay of the land
It would be bneeficial, instead of coming into someone's house and trying to rearrange the furniture, learn how the place works and then you can contribute effectively. There are very good reasons why some things shouldn't be in an online encyclopedia, and why some images cannot be used without the proper copyright info. Help us out by adding notable inforamtion and usable images, and not only will people stop deleting your articles and tagging your images, you'll be appreciated and be making a difference here. Read up more on how Wikipedia works in the welcome message above. - CobaltBlueTony 16:42, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] To answer your question...
...there's a clause here of no original research. You may think that these two comedians look the same and judging from the photos, they do. However, there is no widespread discussion of this similarity and therefore it does not rate an article. There is also a strict no personal attacks clause. I'll be glad to answer your questions, but don't be so belligerent when addressing me on my talk page. Thanks. - Lucky 6.9 16:44, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Personal attacks
Please do not make personal attacks on other people. Wikipedia has a policy against personal attacks. In some cases, users who engage in personal attacks may be blocked from editing by administrators or banned by the arbitration committee. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Please resolve disputes appropriately. Thank you. --ArmadilloFromHell 16:48, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
Please don't do it again. You've just started today and you're already hurling abuse. Please read the tutorials and learn how to contribute in a meaningful fashion. Next attack means a permanent block, so calm down before you start in again. - Lucky 6.9 16:51, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
That screed you just left on Brookie's talk page was the last straw. You've been permanently blocked. - Lucky 6.9 16:53, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
