[edit] Cleanup
Hello. I am not sure what is the problem of Postliminium that I have just created. I agree that as a non-native speaker, I must have some grammatical problem. However, I think there should not be factual problem as I find the definition from internet and tried to rephrase the sentences to avoid piracy problem. I even have put an external link for the Postliminium defined in the laws of war. I think there should not be accuracy problem. The definition was even in the article II of the external link. I would really appreciate it if you can let me know what was wrong. Many thabks.Mababa 08:46, 9 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- I am a native English speaker, and the article simply didn't make sense to me. This is why I first added {{cleanup-copyedit}} to it. (I also added {{wikify}} because it wasn't in the normal form for encyclopaedia articles.) You deleted those notices, but didn't actually perform any copy editing at all. (You don't have to perform the copy editing yourself, you know. The notice is a notice to anyone who might come along. You could have stuck to providing the content and letting other editors provide the copy editing.) So I performed some copy editing. But I'm leery of the possibility that in doing so I've changed the factual content of the article from what is actually correct, which is why I then marked it {{cleanup-verify}}. - Thank you for your response. Ahh...., I found the original texts from a online dictionary[1] which cited from Bouviers Law Dictionary, 1856 Edition. The language was old, and thus that's probably why difficult to comprehand. I personally do not think your edit changed its content. However, I would also let other people with legal training background for proof-reading.Mababa 03:01, 11 Jan 2005 (UTC)
