Talk:Post-Ambient
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] No musicology here
We've added one more article to the large set of useless garbage. It seems that most of editors can't understand the difference between words meaning /referring to a musical scene or an artistic movement, and words/terms dealing with stylistic features, the latter being the only ones that can properly define a music genre. I mean that further work is needed, I'm not going to promote the article for deletion.--Dr. Who 11:58, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
I have never encountered the term 'post-ambient' anywhere before, and it seems to me (albeit with no look at the editing history) that this article was written entirely in one sitting by one author pulling everything from his own head, without reference to anything else. References to extremely obscure bands, the lack of any dates pertaining to the origin of the genre, the lack of anything referencing the etymology of the term, etc. all contribute to my belief that this thing is entirely fabricated. 69.156.145.47 03:41, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with your comment, of course, hopefully more editors will come here and write their opinion.--Doktor Who 16:40, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
