I removed the "Trivia" category, because the only item it held was this: "A. S. Byatt's novel shows so well what postmodernism is all about that students as young as 16 (Year 12 in the UK) study it as part of their modern novel examination for the AQA exam board." Not only does it not make sense grammatically, but how does the fact that students study postmodernism for their AQA have anything to do with the novel, or that the novel shows what postmodernism's "all about"? Um, it doesn't. Also, in the novel LaM and RHA are romantics, not postmodernists. Maria 15:12, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Plot Summary

This article needs a lot of work. I can't really help, as I'm only about 100 pages through the book. It desperately needs a plot summary, I'm quite sure that's a requirement for articles on books. It also needs a 3 paragraph (or so) lead. ɱўɭĩєWhat did I dowrong 00:30, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

You should familiarize yourself with Wikipedia:WikiProject Novels/ArticleTemplate before you finish the novel (one of my faves, by the way) and rush to make some changes. I agree that a proper plot summary is needed, but the lead section need not be a certain amount of paragraphs; it already has the important details, such as year, genre, author, and awards, so it merely needs to be fleshed out. Enjoy the book! María: (habla conmigo) 01:12, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
