Posthuman can have the following meanings:
- Posthuman (critical theory), a postmodern critique of human as a concept.
- Posthuman (human evolution), a hypothetical future being whose basic capacities so radically exceed those of present humans as to be no longer human by our current standards.
- A song by the band Marilyn Manson, found on their 1998 glam rock release, Mechanical Animals. It is said by some to be inspired by the concept of posthuman described above. It was also the name of his vanity label that produced industrial rock bands such as Godhead.
- In the Ultimate Marvel and Wildstorm Comics fictional universes, a person with superhuman powers.
- The artist name used by cousins Rich Bevan and Josh Doherty, who write electronica and IDM music for their own record label Seed Records, and have also appeared on the Skam Records imprint.
