Post Toasties

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Post Toasties is an American breakfast cereal. It is named for its originator C. W. Post, a one-time employee of rival John Harvey Kellogg founder of Kellogg's Corn Flakes (made available to the general public in 1906).

Post Toasties used to be called Elijah's Manna (c. 1904) until angry clergyman protested the name. So in 1908 Post decided to rename it Post Toasties.

However due to sluggish sales Kraft Foods, the owners of the Post brand, decided in April of 2006 to cease production of Post Toasties after 102 years of producing Elijah's Manna/Post Toasties.[citation needed]
