Posio

Posio is a municipality of Finland. E63 runs through it.
It is located in the province of Lapland. The municipality has a population of 4,526 and covers an area of 3,541.45 km² of which 490.46 km² is water. The population density is 1.5 inhabitants per km².
Major employers in Posio are municipality itself, major pottery manufacturer Pentik and agriculture (especially milk producing).
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
