I think the midges section should be deleted, it makes Portree sound like the far reaches of the Amazon. I've been to Portree many times and never had a problem with the little buggers and I certainly didn't need a net over my head. 82.37.114.89 13:11, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

1. "Some suggest" is weasel worded. Needs a citation.
2. What does "Port Ruigh" mean (as opposed to "Port Righ", which is translated)?
