PornoTube was recently theorized to be the "most important site on the internet" by gadget magazine T3 and associate editor of Popular Science magazine, Joe Brown.

PornoTube also recently gained a wave of attention during the Britney-K-Fed sex tape broo-haha of November 2006, when a 19 second clip from the tape allegedly surfaced on the site. http://australianit.news.com.au/articles/0,7204,20748340%5E5005385%5E%5Enbv%5E15306,00.html?from=public_rss

This was later debunked as a college tape of a woman who bore a resemblance to the pop star. http://www.defamer.com/hollywood/britney-spears/debunker-britney-and-kfed-still-keeping-us-waiting-on-that-leaked-sex-tape-213472.php

However, Pornotube did receive worldwide attention from the gossip. http://www.adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=19921
