Portela (pron. IPA: [puɾ'tɛlɐ]), also known as Portela de Sacavém, is a parish (freguesia) in the municipality (concelho) of Loures, District of Lisbon (Lisboa), Portugal.

An association: Associação de Moradores da Portela was founded in order do discuss Portela's prime problems. Portela's History: In the decade of 60 some farms located in the area were destroyed in order to construct some of the buildings. The local power created two schools in order to bring education to the zone. Also a Catholic church and a comunitary garden with soccer field and two tennis courts were built.
