Port Talbot Town F.C. is a football team, playing in the League of Wales.

The club was founded shortly after the second world war and plays at Victoria Road, Port Talbot, which accommodates 2,000 spectators (262 seated).

The team's first choice strip is blue shirts, shorts, and socks. The second choice strip is white shirts, black shorts and socks.

Port Talbot Town adopted their current name in 2001, having previously been Port Talbot Athletic. The club was promoted into the League of Wales in 2000. Although the club can trace rather tenous roots back to 1901, the present period is showing the club's best-ever performance.

Their biggest attendance of the season was the visit of Swansea city f.c which they had over 2000 spectators. They won the game in extra time with a last minute brace from former Swan Andrew Mumford

Port Talbot recently have had a new stand built opposite the original, it is an all seater with blue seats it was officially opened at the game between port Talbot and Swansea.

Their home kit is a all blue strip with a white front hoop on it, manufactured by Erra. The away kit is a yellow strip with green under the arms also Erra. The Steelmen play at The Re//Max stadium which is situated on Victoria Road.

Port Talbot currently are playing in the league of wales and have a fairly strong side reaching the cup final last season only to be beaten by TNS.

  • Biggest League of Wales win: 6-2 v Flexsys Cefn Druids in 2001.
  • Biggest League of Wales defeat: 0-19 by Afan Lido F.C and 1-20 at afan lido ladies, both in 2001.
