Port Elizabeth Airport (IATA: PLZ, ICAO: FAPE), formerly H. F. Verwoerd Airport, is located in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

The first flight between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth took place in 1917. A postal service between these cities was established and the present airport was built in 1929, very close to the city centre. It is said that all major areas of Port Elizabeth is within a ten minute drive from the airport.
In 2004, the airport served 1,055,552 passengers (+20.4% vs. '03).
