Port Clyde, Maine is the southernmost town on the St. George peninsula in central/coastal Maine.

-The current Chief Justice of the United States, John Roberts, has a summer home in Port Clyde.

Maine's maverick visionary artist/writer Charles Wilder Oakes was born near by in Rockland, Maine, and grew up in Port Clyde, which figures into much of his artistic subject matter.
