Pontifical Academy

A Pontifical Academy is an academic honorary society established by and under the direction of the Holy See. Currently there exist five academies:
- Pontifical Academy Cultorum Martyrum
- Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy
- Pontifical Academy for Life
- Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences
- Pontifical Academy of Sciences
