Pontelatone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about 40 km north of Naples and about 15 km northwest of Caserta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,847 and an area of 30.4 km2.[1] The località Treglia (also spelled Tregghia), within the confines of the comune of Pontelatone, is the site of ancient city of Trebula.
Pontelatone borders the following municipalities: Bellona, Camigliano, Capua, Castel di Sasso, Formicola, Liberi, Roccaromana.
