Ponteix, Saskatchewan

Ponteix is a town in southwestern Saskatchewan, Canada, approximately 70 km southeast of Swift Current. There are about 500 residents in Ponteix of which 40% are Fransaskois. Ponteix was the site of a pleaseosaurus find in the late 1980's a statue is still located south of the town to commemorate this. One notable resident is Mark Lamb a former pro Hockey player and now Assistant Coach for the Dallas Stars.
