Ponduru (Telugu - పొందూరు) is a Village and Mandal headquarters in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh, India.
It is about 20 kilometers from Srikakulam Town.
Ponduru is world renowned for Fine Khadi, a symbol of India's independence. The entire process of manufacture - from separation of the cotton to the spinning is done by hand. The villagers take pride in their knowledge that no advanced mechanised technology can replicate.
Ponduru is connected with railways. Ponduru railway station located on Howrah-Chennai mainline in East Coast Railway, Indian Railways.
