Ponderosa Elementary School is a K-5 elementary school located in South San Francisco, California. It is a branch of the South San Francisco Unified School District.

Ponderosa was founded in 1962 and had a Kindergarten to 6th Grade school. In the late 80's they dropped 6th Grade because of the new middle schools that have been founded. Now it is ranked the 2nd most attended elementary school in South San Francisco behind Buri Buri.
